Emaar Grand Hotel – Makkah

Distance from Masjid Al Haram: Approximately 500 meters (7–8 minute walk)

Emaar Grand Hotel is a well-positioned 4-star property within comfortable walking distance of Masjid Al Haram. For pilgrims spending 12 nights in Makkah, having the Haram accessible on foot changes the entire rhythm of the stay. Attending Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha without coordinating shuttle pickups gives you full control over your worship schedule.

Rooms are fitted with air conditioning, free WiFi, flat-screen TVs, and private bathrooms. The surrounding area provides easy access to dining, pharmacies, and essential amenities within short walking distance. King Abdulaziz International Airport is approximately 85 km from the property.

Zowar International Hotel – Madinah

Distance from Masjid Al Nabawi: Approximately 550 meters (7–9 minute walk)

Zowar International Hotel occupies a central position in Madinah, close enough to Masjid Al Nabawi that the call to prayer is clearly audible from the property — a detail that matters more than most pilgrims expect when it comes to maintaining a consistent prayer routine across 9 nights. The hotel provides air-conditioned rooms, free WiFi, and private bathrooms, giving U.S. travelers the level of comfort expected after a long-haul transatlantic journey.

Front desk staff can assist with Ziyarah scheduling and local guidance throughout your stay. Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport is approximately 18 km from the property.

Your 21-Night August Umrah Itinerary

Day 1 — Departure from the USA
Depart from your U.S. gateway city New York, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, or Dallas with a connecting stop in Doha, Dubai, or Istanbul. Total travel time runs 16–22 hours depending on your routing. Your travel coordinator will share your confirmed itinerary, flight details, and transfer schedule well before departure.

Day 2 — Arrival in Makkah
Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer directly to Emaar Grand Hotel. With three full weeks ahead, there is absolutely no need to rush into rituals on arrival day. Check in, eat, rest, and allow your body to adjust to the eight-hour time difference and August heat before beginning your Umrah.

Day 3 — Performing Umrah
Enter ihram at your designated Miqat point and complete Tawaf, Sa’i, and Halq or Taqsir. Twenty-one nights means the timing of your Umrah is entirely your choice — pre-Fajr hours offer the most tranquil Mataf experience in August, with noticeably cooler air and fewer pilgrims circling the Kaabah compared to daytime.

Days 4–13 — Extended Worship & Makkah Ziyarah
Twelve nights in Makkah is a genuinely rare opportunity. Beyond completing Umrah, this stretch of time allows for repeated Tawaf on multiple evenings, extended Quran recitation inside the Haram, voluntary night prayers, and unhurried personal reflection at one of the most significant places on earth.

Two full days are set aside for guided Ziyarah one covering Jabal Al Nour, Jabal Thawr, and the Cave of Hira, and a second covering Mina, Muzdalifah, Masjid Al Khayf, and the surrounding historical sites. All outdoor visits are scheduled for early morning when August temperatures are at their most manageable.

Days 14–21 — Madinah: Nine Nights at the Prophet’s City ï·º
Transfer to Madinah and check in at Zowar International Hotel. Nine nights beside Masjid Al Nabawi is something very few Umrah packages offer enough time to attend prayers consistently, complete multiple Ziyarah days across the city’s key sites, spend extended time in the Rawdah, and experience Madinah at a pace that feels settled rather than transient. Two structured Ziyarah days are included, with remaining time left open for personal worship and reflection.

Day 22 — Return to the USA
Transfer to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport for your return flight. Your travel coordinator remains reachable until you have landed safely back in the U.S.

Which Umrah Package Suits You Best?

If this 4-star, 21-night package isn’t quite the right fit, the same duration is also available in two other tiers. The 3-Star August Umrah Package – 21 Nights offers a comfortable yet budget-friendly long stay, with cozy rooms, essential amenities, and hotels conveniently located near Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi, ideal for pilgrims who want an affordable option while enjoying easy access to the holy sites throughout their 21-night journey.

For pilgrims seeking the highest level of comfort, the 5-Star Premium August Umrah Package – 21 Nights offers spacious rooms, premium services, fine dining, and world-class hotel facilities, making it especially well suited to families, senior pilgrims, or anyone staying 21 nights who wants a relaxed, smooth, and spiritually fulfilling experience.

Whichever tier you choose, Ziyarat tours and ground transport to the holy sites are included as standard, so moving between tiers changes your hotel comfort and proximity to the mosques over the same 21-night stay, not the depth of the Umrah experience itself.

MAKKAH ZIYARAT

Twelve nights in Makkah allows for two dedicated Ziyarah days rather than cramming everything into one. Jabal Al Nour and the Cave of Hira where the first Quranic revelation came to the Prophet ﷺ involves a significant climb that pilgrims generally find more manageable when tackled before sunrise during August. The second day covers Mina and Muzdalifah, where the annual Hajj rituals take place, along with Masjid Al Khayf a mosque of considerable historical significance within the Mina valley.

Jabal Thawr, the site where the Prophet ï·º and Abu Bakr RA sheltered during the Hijrah, is also included. All Ziyarah transportation is provided as part of the package. no separate arrangements needed.

MADINAH ZIYARAT

Nine nights in Madinah allows for two full Ziyarah days with enough flexibility to revisit any site a second time. Masjid Quba, the first mosque established in Islam carries the hadith-backed reward of two Rak’ahs equivalent to Umrah for those who pray there. Masjid Al Qiblatayn, where the direction of prayer shifted from Jerusalem to Makkah during the Prophet’s ï·º lifetime, is among the most historically layered sites in the city. The Uhud battlefield and the resting place of the Shuhada provides a sobering and meaningful visit, particularly for pilgrims familiar with the events of the battle.

Al-Baqi cemetery, a short walk from Masjid Al Nabawi, is accessible throughout your stay for those who wish to visit on multiple occasions. All Ziyarah sites are covered by included ground transportation no need to arrange private taxis or shared buses independently.

Why Choose August for Umrah?

A 21-night August package occupies a different category from anything shorter  it is not a trip you fit around your life, it is a trip you give your life to for three weeks. For U.S. pilgrims, August is one of the only months where that kind of commitment is genuinely practical. Schools are out across every state, summer PTO is at its most accessible, and family schedules open up in a way that simply does not happen during the rest of the year. The heat in Makkah is real and should be respected, but 21 nights gives you the flexibility to worship during the cooler hours early mornings, late evenings, and after midnight without missing anything due to time pressure.

Best Value and Affordability

At $1,236 per person for 21 nights, the nightly rate across this package is competitive with far shorter trips once accommodation, visa fees, and transfers are calculated separately. Both hotels are within walking distance of their respective Harams, and everything beyond your international flights is covered from the moment you land.

Families

Three weeks during summer break gives multi-generational families the most relaxed and complete Umrah experience possible. Elderly parents and young children can move at a comfortable pace without any part of the itinerary feeling compressed. Connecting rooms at Emaar Grand Hotel and Zowar International Hotel can be arranged on request for families traveling together.

Working Professionals

Three weeks is a significant commitment, but August is when it is most achievable. Many U.S. professionals carry unused annual leave into summer, and employers tend to be more accommodating with extended requests during this period than at any other point in the calendar year. Returning from 21 nights is a fundamentally different experience from a week-long trip.

First-Time Pilgrims

Twenty-one nights gives first-time pilgrims more room than any other package to learn, absorb, and repeat. There is time to perform Umrah more than once, ask questions, attend lectures at the Haram, and simply sit in the presence of the Kaabah without watching the clock. Visa processing, hotel stays, and all transfers are handled — the focus from day one is entirely on the experience.

Do You Have Any Question?

If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, feel free to reach out to our customer support team. We’re here to help!

The package covers 21 nights of accommodation — 12 nights at Emaar Grand Hotel in Makkah and 9 nights at Zowar International Hotel in Madinah — along with Umrah visa processing and ground transportation throughout. International flights are booked separately through your travel coordinator.
Emaar Grand Hotel is approximately 500 meters from Masjid Al Haram, around a 7–8 minute walk. Zowar International Hotel is approximately 550 meters from Masjid Al Nabawi, easily walkable for all five daily prayers throughout your stay.
Twenty-one nights removes every element of time pressure from the trip. You can perform Umrah multiple times, spend extended periods in the Rawdah, complete thorough Ziyarah across both cities, and experience both Makkah and Madinah in a way that shorter stays simply do not allow. It suits families, returning pilgrims, and anyone who wants the trip to feel complete rather than rushed.
Makkah in August averages 42–45°C, with the hottest period running from late morning through mid-afternoon. Madinah runs slightly cooler. With 21 nights, you have full flexibility to schedule outdoor Ziyarah and walks to the Haram during the early morning and evening hours when conditions are considerably more comfortable.
Yes, connecting or adjoining rooms can be arranged at both Emaar Grand Hotel in Makkah and Zowar International Hotel in Madinah. Please mention this requirement at the time of booking so it can be confirmed with both properties before your arrival.
This package starts from $1,236 per person. Pricing varies based on group size, departure city, and booking date. Contact our team directly for a tailored quote based on your travel details.
As early as possible. Extended stays at well-located 4-star properties during August are limited, and availability at both hotels fills up months ahead of the travel window. Booking 5–6 months in advance gives you the strongest choice of rooms and protects against the price increases that consistently appear as August approaches.
