Al Ebaa Hotel

Distance: ~1 km from Masjid Al Haram—10 to 15 minutes on foot (shuttle pickup available)

Al Ebaa sits off Umm Al Qura Road, in a part of Makkah that’s built up around pilgrim traffic without carrying the price tag of hotels directly on the Haram plaza. There’s a noticeable incline on the return walk, so guests who’d rather not climb it can catch the shuttle instead. Inside, expect air conditioning, a private bathroom, a desk, and a flat-screen TV — nothing extravagant, but reliable for a short stay.

The hotel restaurant runs a halal breakfast and dinner buffet, which saves you from finding meals on unfamiliar streets during a tight 7-night trip. Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz Airport is about 91 km out, typical for hotels in this part of the city.

Emaar Elite Madinah

Distance: 150–600 meters from Masjid an-Nabawi—3 to 8 minutes on foot

This is about as close as a 4-star property gets to the Prophet’s Mosque ï·º. Located in the Northern Central Area, near the ladies’ entrance gates, it’s a location that works particularly well for families and solo female travelers. Three nights this close means you’re not timing your day around a shuttle schedule—you walk, you pray, you’re back in minutes.

Rooms come with a minibar, tea and coffee setup, air conditioning, and a private bathroom stocked with toiletries and a hairdryer. Front desk staff are on duty around the clock, and airport shuttle service is available on request.

Your 7-Night September Umrah Itinerary

Day 1 | Leave the USA
Board your flight from one of five US departure cities, connect through a major hub, land in Jeddah roughly 14–19 hours later depending on route.

Day 2 | Land, Settle In
Transfer straight to Al Ebaa Hotel. Ten to fifteen minutes from the Haram on foot. Rest first — you’ll need it.

Day 3 | Your Umrah
Ihram, Tawaf, Sa’i, then Halq or Taqsir. September crowds are thin compared to Ramadan, so plan for early morning or post-Isha to move through quickly.

Days 4–5 | Worship and Ziyarah in Makkah
Two days for extra prayer at the Haram and a guided trip out to Jabal Al Nour, Jabal Thawr, and Muzdalifah. Four nights doesn’t leave much slack, so keep outdoor stops to early or late in the day — September afternoons still climb past 100°F.

Day 6 | On to Madinah
Check-in at Emaar Elite Madinah. A few minutes’ walk from the Prophet’s Mosque ï·º. Unpack, breathe, get ready for round two.

Days 6–8 | Madinah
Prayer at Masjid an-Nabawi, time in Raudah if the crowd allows, and a guided stop at Masjid Quba, Masjid Al Qiblatayn, and the Uhud battlefield.

Day 8 | Home
Transfer to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport. Your coordinator stays on call until you’ve touched down in the US.

Which Umrah Package Suits You Best?

Not every pilgrim wants the same level of comfort — that’s why this 4-star package sits alongside 3-star and 5-star versions of the same trip, so you can pick based on budget and preference rather than settle for one fixed option.

The 3-Star Umrah Package strips things back to the essentials—well-kept hotels, straightforward amenities, and solid access to both Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi. Good fit for pilgrims who’d rather put their budget toward the trip itself than the hotel room.

The 5-Star Premium Umrah Package goes the other direction—upscale hotels, larger rooms, and full-service amenities, still positioned close to both holy sites. Works well for families, older pilgrims, or anyone who’d rather not think about logistics during the trip.

Whichever tier you land on, the core experience stays consistent: organized accommodation and optional guided Ziyarat in both Makkah and Madinah if you’d like to add it to your stay.

MAKKAH ZIYARAT

  • Jabal Al Nour — where the first revelation came down, inside the Cave of Hira. Go early; it’s a climb.
  • Jabal Thawr — the mountain that sheltered the Prophet ï·º and Abu Bakr (RA) during the Hijrah. You can view it from ground level without the climb.
  • Muzdalifah — the wide-open plain used during Hajj, between Arafat and Mina.

Transport’s covered, and this is worked around your prayer schedule, not the other way around.

MADINAH ZIYARAT

  • Masjid Quba — first mosque ever built. Praying two rak’ahs here equals the reward of a full Umrah, according to hadith.
  • Masjid Al Qiblatayn — the mosque where the qibla direction switched mid-prayer, from Jerusalem to Makkah.
  • Uhud — battlefield and burial site of Hamza (RA) and the other companions martyred there.

Since Madinah is only three nights on this package, this trip usually goes early in your stay so it doesn’t eat into your last hours at the mosque, with private transport included for the visit.

Why Choose September for Umrah?

Book outside Ramadan and Hajj season, and the whole trip shifts in your favor—hotel prices drop, flights open up, and the Haram itself is easier to move through without a crush of pilgrims at every turn.

The catch is the heat. Makkah still hits 100–105°F on September afternoons. On a 7-night trip there’s less room to spread things out than on longer packages, so mornings and evenings become your working hours for anything outdoors.

Best Value and Affordability

At $603 per person, this 4-star package delivers upgraded hotels and amenities without the premium pricing tied to Ramadan or peak season. September’s off-peak rates mean better rooms for less money — a rare combination that doesn’t usually last outside this window.

Families

Shorter lines at the Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi mean less standing around with kids or older relatives in tow. Emaar Elite Madinah's location near the ladies' entrances is a practical plus for families traveling with women and children, cutting down on long walks between the mosque and hotel.

Working Professionals

Seven nights fits inside most standard leave allowances without eating into vacation days reserved for other plans. September also falls outside the school-holiday rush, so booking flights and hotels is easier — and cheaper — than competing with peak-season travelers for the same seats and rooms.

First-Time Pilgrims

Lighter crowds make September a more forgiving introduction to Umrah—less jostling through Tawaf and more room to actually absorb the experience. The 7-night structure keeps the trip focused: perform your rites, complete both guided Ziyarat, and head home without the complexity of managing a longer, more open-ended itinerary.

New York, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, or Dallas — expect 14–19 hours total with a hub connection.
Al Ebaa is about 10–15 minutes on foot from Masjid Al Haram. Emaar Elite Madinah is closer still — 3 to 8 minutes from Masjid an-Nabawi.

Expect 100–105°F in Makkah during the day. Plan outdoor time for mornings or evenings given how little slack a 7-night schedule leaves.
Yes — Jeddah to Makkah to Madinah and back, all included.
Yes. Same September dates come in 3-star and 5-star at 7 nights, and 4-star is also available at 10 nights if you want more time without changing hotel quality.

Considering Other Options?

If a 4-star, 7-night September stay isn’t quite the right fit, the same trip is available in other star ratings, durations, and months to match your schedule and budget.

Every package includes your Umrah visa, ground transportation between Jeddah, Makkah, and Madinah, and guided Ziyarat in both cities—the difference comes down to star rating, travel month, and how many nights you have available.
