My Umrah Packages

3 STAR December UMRAH PACKAGE 2026 - 10 NIGHTS FROM USA ($577/PP)

Ten nights in December makes more sense than seven for one simple reason — the school break is already 2–3 weeks long. If you’re travelling during Christmas and New Year holiday anyway, three extra nights costs far less per night than the 7-night package, and you arrive home having had time to actually settle into worship at both Haramain rather than rushing through them on a tight schedule. At $577/pp across 10 nights, the per-night cost works out to roughly $57.70 — noticeably lower than the 7-night rate of $64 per night — so the extended stay is also the more economical one.

This package splits into 6 nights in Makkah at Al Kiswah Tower, 900 metres to 1.2 kilometres from Masjid Al Haram, and 4 nights in Madinah at Diyafat Al Mokhtara, 300 to 350 metres from Masjid an-Nabawi. December’s 22–28°C temperatures make both the daily walks to the mosques and the extended outdoor time during Ziyarat genuinely comfortable throughout the full 10 nights. Flights are available on request from Houston, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Dallas with most routes running 14–18 hours.

Al Kiswah Tower Makkah

Al Kiswah Tower is located 900 metres to 1.2 kilometres from Masjid Al Haram — a 10–15 minute walk that becomes a comfortable daily routine across a 6-night Makkah stay, particularly in December when temperatures average 22–28°C and the walk is manageable at any time of day. A regular shuttle service runs between the hotel and the Haram throughout the day, giving pilgrims the option to walk in the cooler morning and evening hours and use the shuttle during busier prayer times. Rooms are air-conditioned with flat-screen TVs, private bathrooms, and complimentary WiFi throughout, and the 24-hour front desk is available for any arrangements or assistance needed across your stay.

Six nights at Al Kiswah Tower gives pilgrims enough time to build a consistent daily prayer routine at the Haram — attending all five prayers, making additional Tawaf circuits, and visiting the Ziyarat sites — without the distance ever becoming a logistical barrier.

Diyafat Al Mokhtara Madinah

Diyafat Al Mokhtara sits 300 to 350 metres from Masjid an-Nabawi in Central Madinah — close enough that walking to all five daily prayers across your 4-night stay is entirely practical, with the route straightforward and well-lit for early morning and late-night prayer sessions. Rooms feature air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and private bathrooms, with room service and a 24-hour front desk available throughout your stay. Quba Mosque (5.4km), Qiblatain Mosque (6.1km), and Mount Uhud (8.4km) are all within easy guided transport range for the Ziyarat visit included in the package.

At 300–350 metres from the Prophet’s Mosque, pilgrims on this package attend every prayer on foot across all 4 Madinah nights — a proximity that makes the most of the extended Madinah portion compared to a 3-night stay on a shorter package.

Your 7-Night December Umrah Itinerary

Day 1 — Departure from the USA
Depart from your chosen US city — Houston, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, or Dallas. Most routes run 14–18 hours with one connection. Your agent confirms your full itinerary and travel details before departure.

Day 2 — Arrival in Makkah
Land at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and transfer to Al Kiswah Tower, 900 metres to 1.2 kilometres from Masjid Al Haram. Check in, rest after the long flight, and prepare for Umrah rites — entering Ihram at the airport or Miqat if not already done.

Day 3 — Umrah Rites & First Tawaf
Perform Tawaf around the Kaaba and Sa’i between Safa and Marwah to complete your core Umrah rites. December’s 22–28°C temperatures make both the walk to the Haram and the Tawaf itself considerably more comfortable than a summer visit.

Day 4 — Settling Into Makkah
A free day to attend all five daily prayers at the Haram and begin building a worship routine. With 6 nights in Makkah, there’s no pressure to fill every day with activities from the start — the shuttle makes attending every prayer straightforward.

Day 5 — Makkah Ziyarat
Guided half-day visit to Jabal al-Nour and the Cave of Hira, Jabal Thawr, and Jannat al-Mu’alla. December’s cooler temperatures make the Jabal al-Nour climb manageable for most pilgrims. Private transport arranged for all Ziyarat visits.

Day 6 — Free Worship Day
A flexible day for additional Tawaf, Qur’an reading, and personal du’a at the Haram — one of the built-in advantages of the 10-night format over a 7-night trip.

Day 7 — Final Full Day in Makkah
A last full day of worship at Masjid Al Haram, with time for additional Tawaf and a farewell du’a before transferring to Madinah tomorrow.

Day 8 — Transfer to Madinah
Check out of Al Kiswah Tower and transfer by road to Madinah. Check into Diyafat Al Mokhtara, 300–350 metres from Masjid an-Nabawi. Evening prayer at the Prophet’s Mosque is a short walk from the hotel.

Day 9 — Madinah Ziyarat & Worship
Guided tour of Quba Mosque, Qiblatain Mosque, and Mount Uhud, with dedicated time for prayer at Masjid an-Nabawi and a visit to the Prophet’s ï·º resting place in Rawdah. Private transport arranged from the hotel.

Day 10 — Free Worship Day in Madinah
An unstructured day for extended prayer and personal reflection at Masjid an-Nabawi — one of the key advantages of a 4-night Madinah stay over a 3-night one. Time to revisit Rawdah and attend additional prayers without a schedule to keep.

Day 11 — Final Prayers & Departure
A final morning of prayer at Masjid an-Nabawi before transferring to Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport for your return flight to the US.

Which Umrah Package Suits You Best?

For pilgrims planning a 3-star 10-night Umrah in December, this package delivers the best cost-per-night value in the December 3-star lineup — Al Kiswah Tower’s shuttle-supported access to Masjid Al Haram across 6 Makkah nights and Diyafat Al Mokhtara’s 300–350 metre proximity to Masjid an-Nabawi across 4 Madinah nights, at $57.70 per night during the school break window.

For pilgrims who want hotels positioned closer to both Haramain with upgraded amenities, our 4-star December 10-night package at $777/pp offers a meaningful step up in proximity and room quality — particularly worthwhile for families wanting more comfort across a 10-night school break trip.

For pilgrims wanting the premium 10-night December experience, our 5-star December 10-night package at $883/pp places you in luxury hotels with direct Haram proximity in both cities, with fine dining and full concierge support — the most complete 10-night December Umrah available from the US.

Private transport and guided Ziyarat in both Makkah and Madinah can be arranged across all three tiers, with December’s cool temperatures making the extended 10-night format comfortable throughout.

Makkah Ziyarat

Makkah’s historical sites offer pilgrims a deeper connection to the city’s Islamic heritage beyond the worship at the Haram. Jabal al-Nour, home to the Cave of Hira where the Prophet ï·º received his first revelation, rewards the climb in December’s cooler temperatures — the ascent is considerably more manageable than in summer, and the view over Makkah from the summit carries particular significance after days spent at the Kaaba below. Jabal Thawr, where the Prophet ï·º and Abu Bakr (RA) sheltered during the migration to Madinah, and Jannat al-Mu’alla — the historic cemetery where many of the Prophet’s ï·º relatives including Sayyida Khadijah (RA) are buried — round out the guided Makkah visit. With 6 nights in Makkah, the Ziyarat tour fits naturally into the schedule without cutting into primary worship time. Private transport for all Makkah Ziyarat visits can be arranged as part of your package.

Madinah Ziyarat

Diyafat Al Mokhtara’s 300–350 metre proximity to Masjid an-Nabawi makes it a practical base for Madinah’s Ziyarat visits, with guided transport arranged from the hotel. Quba Mosque, where the Prophet ï·º prayed upon arriving in Madinah and which carries voluntary prayer rewards equivalent to Umrah per hadith, is 5.4km from the hotel. Qiblatain Mosque, where the qibla direction was changed from Jerusalem to Makkah mid-prayer, is 6.1km away, and Mount Uhud — site of the Battle of Uhud and the resting place of the martyrs including Sayyiduna Hamza (RA) — is 8.4km from the hotel. With 4 Madinah nights, pilgrims have a full day reserved purely for worship at Masjid an-Nabawi after the Ziyarat tour — something a 3-night stay doesn’t allow. Private transport for all Madinah Ziyarat visits is available across all package tiers.

Why Choose December for Umrah?

December aligns with the US school break and delivers the coolest temperatures of the year in both Makkah and Madinah — and at the 10-night level, both of those factors work harder than they do on a shorter trip.

Best Value and Affordability

At $577/pp across 10 nights, this package works out to roughly $57.70 per night — lower than the 7-night rate of $64 per night, since December’s school-break pricing applies across more of your stay without additional surcharges. The extended stay is simultaneously the more affordable and the more complete option for pilgrims travelling during the holiday window.

Families

December's winter school break gives US families a shared 2–3 week travel window without missing school days. Cooler Makkah temperatures averaging 22–28°C are far more manageable for children than summer heat, and connected family rooms in both hotels can be arranged on request.

Working Professionals

Ten nights during the Christmas and New Year break gives families enough time to pace themselves properly across both cities — rest days between Ziyarat outings, a full extra Madinah night compared to the 7-night package, and December's 22–28°C temperatures keeping the daily walks to both mosques comfortable for children and elderly relatives throughout. The 6+4 night split also gives families more flexibility to adjust the schedule if anyone needs a rest day without losing worship time.

First-Time Pilgrims

Ten nights gives first-timers the room to learn the rhythms of both Haramain without a compressed schedule — an extra Makkah night to revisit the Kaaba, a full free day in Madinah after the Ziyarat tour, and December's cooler temperatures removing the heat stress that can overwhelm first-timers on a summer trip. For pilgrims doing this for the first time during the school break, the 10-night format is a significantly better introduction to Umrah than a rushed 7-night alternative.
